How To Make A Green Smoothie (That You’ll Actually Enjoy)

My Favorite Green Smoothie Recipe

Most of us know what will make the morning after a night out, just little more bearable. For some, it’s too much coffee. For others, it’s deep-fried hash browns and eggs at the diner. For me, it’s a super healthy juice smoothie – and I’ll tell you exactly how I make it taste great.

What To Put In It

2 cups of almond milk, 2 teaspoons chia seeds, 2 cups spinach, 2 (small) frozen bananas, half serving of vegan protein powder, half a lemon

Bitter greens can be beautifully sweet and easy to make, with very little preparation. Even though your body is craving nutrients, food is usually the last thing on your mind. It can be challenging to figure out what to eat. With this recipe, it’s easy to grab the ingredients the day before – make it in your onesie and slippers at home!
This delicious drink is best taken after a tall glass of lemon or lime infused water.

Balance is a beautiful thing, and waking up to a clean start will get you motivated to eat clean and exercise moving forward. This recipe uses a blender – no juicing required. With this green smoothie, you’re putting nutrients into your body with a ton of iron, fiber and also calcium. Adding extra calories to the mix with almond milk, bananas and protein powder is a great way to make something that will stop you from being hungry for a few hours.
